Not sure why there's something called PnpLockdown=1 and I'm just wondering if that were even any making any differences, though the official usbaudio2.inf certainly didn't seem to include anything close to "Security Catalog" files since they should be meant for the digital signature

If I weren't mistaken, maybe Windows 11 PE was acting like Captain Obvious of some sort? Unless built-in Windows drivers are working quite differently, those files usbaudio2.inf and usbaudio2.sys couldn't have been digitally signed in the first place so now what? I don't even know if we're supposed to be amused or amazed.

Hello Xp18,Device Manager is showing that it is attempting to start your DAC with usbaudio2.sys, the native Windows USB 2.0 driver. Does your DAC, in other versions of Windows, usually require you to download drivers and install them, or does it just work by plugging it in?
I'll post a post detailing differences I found in the stripping/disabling process soon, but for the most part they were very minor differences and I pretty quickly got through things once I finally resolved the usbaudio2.sys driver issue.

The clang compiler bug has caused many more crashes on Android, andthis release contains a more reliable workaround. Additionally, amissing player idle event has been added and a float-to-s32conversion bug has been fixed.
It fixes random crashes when compiled with a recent clang version dueto a new compiler optimization gone wrong. Thanks for the reply, Nikhil. In looking at Roon's website, their site mentions "Roon player" a lot, so I assumed that meant it includes a player. HPQ doesn't seem to support mp3, which some of my music files are, so I'm not sure that's the best choice. Plus, it costs another bundle. Right now, I fall back on foobar when I don't want to mess with the five minute BH set up. I also have APlayer (Russian) and Linn Kazoo, along with Minimserver, which I haven't used in awhile. I'm currently using USB vis PS Audio's LanRover to their DS dac, and also have their Bridge II card, which I need to reinstall and get working correctly. It's the latter that got me to thinking of Roon. In any case, some things to mull over.
Doesn't the current version work for you? I think it's more Win version dependent now than processor, but I could be wrong about that.
