Students are currently planning an exhibition of portable arts (manuscripts, textiles, ceramics) of the pre-modern Eastern Mediterranean and Islamic world in the context of 19th and 20th century collecting practices. The exhibition will go up in January 2023 in the Grinnell College Museum of Art.
